STORAGE AND TRANSPORT:
All parts must be clean and dry before storing. Cleaning should be carried out with a damp cloth. Do not use chemicals that could damage protective coatings or reduce the life of the product. Always allow to dry naturally, away from direct heat. All parts should be stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, away from excessive heat, high humidity, sharp edges, corrosives, sunlight or other sources of ultraviolet light (UV), insect infestation and other possible causes of damage. During transport, this product should be protected from abrasion, mechanical damage, chemical contamination, UV and heat.
How To Assemble Your Air Frame
Air Frame FAQs From Our Product Experts

What happens if I get my Air Frame wet?
A: The wooden sections of the Air Frame are vulnerable to moisture. The mechanical properties of wood can be changed by getting it wet, over time it will deteriorate. You must try to avoid getting the Air Frame wet at all, if it does get wet then ensure it is completely dry before putting it away. When drying, use a towel to remove as much surface water as possible. Leave the affected components in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources or sunshine. Thorough drying will be best achieved with the Air Frame diss-assembled. Carefully inspect each part for any signs of damage or deterioration before you use it again. If in doubt, don’t use it.
How much space do I need to be able to put up an Air Frame?
The Air Frame Regular has a footprint of 3.1m X 3.1m and is 2.4m high.
The Air Frame Large has a footprint of 4.5m x 4.5m and is 3.5m high.
You must allow enough space around the Air Frame to be able to assemble and use it.
Can 2 people of 80KG or less use the Air Frame at the same time?
The Air Frame is designed for use by only one person. If two people use it at the same time, there is a risk of dynamic movement that could put loads on the Air Frame that it’s not designed to withstand. The frame is meant to be loaded centrally, distributing the weight evenly between each leg, which is less likely with two users. Additionally, there’s an increased risk of colliding with one of the legs if two people are using the frame simultaneously.
Can I use a pully system with the Air Frame?
No, you can only rig equipment directly from the D Shackles. The use of pulleys or more complex load-bearing systems is not allowed with the Air Frame. The load must remain within the footprint of the Air Frame and be evenly distributed between each leg. This is reliably achieved only by rigging directly from the D Shackles.
Can I buy extra leg sections to make my Air Frame taller?
The Air Frame comes in two sizes: regular (2.4m high) and large (3.5m high). Conversion kits are available to change the size of your Air Frame from one to the other.
Any further modifications to increase the height of the Air Frame are strictly prohibited. Doing so poses a serious risk of causing damage to the Air Frame and carries a high potential for injury or even death.
How tight should the stabilisation cables be?
Remember the following instructions for setting up the stabilisation cables:
The stabilisation cables should not be overly tight, but they should be done up enough to eliminate any slack.
These cables support the Top Bar of the Air Frame, and while they must always be used, they do not directly bear any load. The bars on the adjustment barrel of the Rigging Screws are intentionally short to prevent over-tightening. The most important thing is that all 4 stabilisation cables feel about the same tightness as each other. If you press against one of the cables, you should be able to deflect it by a few centimetres by hand. Once done-up, all of the cables should deflect about the same amount when pressed with about the same force.
I have lost or damaged a part, what do I do?
Your Air Frame comes with 4 spare pins and split rings. If you need extra parts, you can purchase spares for each part. Never use the Air Frame without all its parts, and make sure all parts are functioning correctly.
Some Leg / Foot Sections feel or look different than the others, is this ok?
The wooden components of the Air Frame are made from a natural material. Therefore, no two parts will ever be exactly the same. Small differences in colour, weight, and appearance are completely normal. If you notice any changes, examine it very carefully for any signs of deterioration. If you’re unsure, do not use it.
Can I use my Air Frame on the beach?
It’s not a good idea to take the Air Frame to the beach. Beaches have many potential hazards that could affect the lifespan of your Air Frame. The sand is likely to get into the joints and threads of the Air Frame, which could prevent it from being assembled correctly or cause premature wear on the parts. The salty environment carries a high risk of causing corrosion on the metal parts of the Air Frame – even the stainless steel parts are at risk. Great care must be taken to ensure that the Air Frame is always set up on stable, solid ground that can support the weight of the frame’s feet. Sand is not an ideal surface for this.
What certificate/load rating does the Frame have?
The Air Frame is certified to a working load limit of 160kg and made to the ISO9001 Quality Management System.
What is the guarantee?
The Air Frame is guaranteed for 3 years from the date of purchase. This guarantee covers defects in materials or workmanship but does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse or accidental damage
Do I need to inspect the Air Frame?
Before each use, carefully inspect the entire frame in good light. Pay special attention to the wooden sections and look for any cracks, splits, elongation of holes, signs of rot, or infestations of animal or plant life. Also, check for wear or damage around the pins and holes. If there is more than 10% wear on any hole or pin, it is considered worn out. You can carefully remove any sharp edges with a fine file, but make sure to consider how they got there and check for any further damage. If you are unsure about the condition, do not use the frame.
Can I put Aerial silks/hoop/trapeze/rope on it?
Any compatible equipment can be used if rigged correctly. For single-point equipment, it must be rigged from the middle point. See instructions for clear details on rigging your equipment.
